When I first started out as a photographer, I had no idea what I was doing. All I knew was that I wanted to capture beautiful moments and create lasting memories for people. So, I did the only thing I could think of as an older sister; I made my little sister help me and I repaid her with snacks. As my first model, my sister was patient and kind (well as patient as a little kid can be) as I fumbled with my camera settings and tried to figure out how to capture the perfect shot. But it wasn't just my technical skills that improved - it was also my ability to connect with my subject and bring out their unique personality and style.

A Rainy Engagement Shoot at Point Addis: A Test of Adaptability

Despite the unpredictable weather, Sharon and Mark's engagement shoot at Point Addis was a success! We were able to capture some stunning photos of the couple with the beautiful coastal backdrop. From the windy and cold start to the unexpected rain, it was a true test of our adaptability as photographers. But we pushed through and captured some truly intimate and breathtaking moments between Sharon and Mark. It was a reminder that with a little flexibility and creativity, we can still create amazing memories and photographs, rain or shine.
